AdWords Management

How To Get Leads and Sales Generated For Your Business By An AdWords Expert

The more popular and powerful Google AdWords has become as an advertising medium, the more difficult Google has made it for beginners (in particular) to effectively master their killer service.

3-5 years ago, AdWords was relatively easy AND ultra cheap to use. You just dropped a pile of keywords into an adgroup or 3, bid 5 cents a click and threw money at it until the sales started to roll in.

Unfortunately, these days that’s not how AdWords works, and beginners in particular are suffering bigtime from trying to make headway with it.

For a start, cheap click charges on the order of 5 cents are very rare. Most click charges are upwards of 50 cents, and $1 – $3 a click is not uncommon in this day and age.

Now days it’s almost impossible to take the old path of throwing enough mud on the wall (metaphorically speaking) and waiting to see what would stick!

Also, effective structuring of AdWords campaigns, adgroups & even keywords is a very different game compared to the way things worked in the past.

The short version of a very long story is that AdWords is no longer a game for beginners. Yes, you can easily set up a simple campaign to spend $50-$100 a month and get a few clicks through, but to really pull PROFITABLE results from AdWords requires a whole new set of skills and practical knowledge that can take 6-12 months or more to learn, if you were so inclined.

If you spend big bucks ($1000/month or more), you risk losing most of it in wasted ineffective click charges that do little for your business and struggle to bring in profitable new sales & leads.

Hence, if you wish to use AdWords to grow your business, you only have 2 choices: learn it all yourself over a 6-12 month period (long hard slow process that costs money and time to get there), or hire a professional who’s been doing this stuff in the trenchs for years!

Sure, it costs more to hire the professional upfront, but they can achieve in a day or a week what is likely to take you the entire 6-12 months to achieve. Ask yourself the question: Do you want the profits sooner or later?

Also, if you do decide to go down the path of doing it yourself, the big thing most people don’t realise is that you will initially waste plenty of your own money actually learning “on the job”, so you may well have burnt more on experimenting and learning than it would have cost you to hire the pro, and you had to wait a year instead of a day or week for the results!

I’ve been playing the AdWords game for over 5 years now, and I learned all the tough street fighter AdWords skills I have on client accounts spending up to $60,000 a month on AdWords. Even though I started in the industry knowing a lot about AdWords (from the self education program I undertook prior to getting a job in the Search Engine Marketing field), I found the reality was that knowing this stuff was VERY different from doing it!

It took me about 6 months of hands-on AdWords management before I actually felt confident & comfortable with setting up and managing PROFITABLE AdWords campaigns for clients, and keep in mind that it was all I did, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. So, imagine how far behind the 8 ball you’ll find yourself if you’re considering learning AdWords yourself?

When it comes to AdWords, there’s only 2 results you’ll end up with: A profit or a loss.

Which one do you want?
